April:
I came to the SFS garden mid April and the grass and plants growing was so tall! Everything in the garden has begun growing so much! It’s a really hot and humid afternoon after practice and there is absolutely no wind. It’s pretty cloudy out here so I feel a little gloomy. I think it’s about to rain so I’m pretty excited about that. I’m sure the trees and plants in the garden will love the rain as well. I spotted some brush around the front of the garden and I’m not really sure what it is from.
May:
Once again, I’m visiting the Students for Sustainability garden and it looks so much different than it did in March. It’s a beautiful day out here on May 5, 2014. It’s 90 degrees out and there is a slight wind which makes it so beautiful to sit out here and observe nature. Lately I’ve been stressed and coming to the SFS garden and sitting on the slab of cement I usually sit on is what I’ve been looking forward to all day. There are different flowers growing out here. They’re not blue bonnets anymore but rather a beautiful pink and yellow flower. They’re everywhere! I didn’t hear much squirrel or bird interaction this time which I noticed within the first 25 minutes. The trees look happy with this beautiful weather and I can’t help but be relieved from all this stress.
