My current expert hour sheet contains about 5 hours of expert hours. I have included things such as class work that we have practiced in Illustrator, but also me working in other classes such as editing photos for image methodology. Although this work is for classes this does not include class time. I have also worked on miscellaneous projects such as a couple of birthday cards that I am designing. I have made my Pinterest board and looked at design and symbols for about an hour just to get ideas. I project to get about 6 hours a week on expert hours. This would include things such as classwork that would feed into design, but also miscellaneous projects that I am working on or just experimenting.  Although my minimum time would be 6 hours a week I would love to get more than that, since I have the weekends which give me a lot more time to work. Most of my time at the moment consist of just searching online in mediums such as Pinterest or design blogs to get ideas and take notes of certain typography I like or layout design. I feel like I struggle most without layout design so I try and focus on taking notes in that area to help me better my craft. Class work also is starting to take a big chunk of time since I use design in graphic design 1 and also image methodology. Any other projects such as the birthday cards vary on times, since they aren’t a rush I just work on them sporadically.
