The purpose of this assignment was to create a series of vector line drawings to print with the plotter. As such the illustrations had to be relatively simple and made entirely with line strokes due to the limitations of the plotter. I chose to make a series of samurai illustrations. I have been interested in samurai since I was a child and I knew that they would be a source of great aesthetics and dynamic posing. These two elements lend themselves very well to the more sketch like nature of plotter drawings.
