We first started with looking at truisms and writing one that was specific to us. After we made Zines that were printed using the Risograph. I really wanted to showcase more than the 2 colors that we were limited to and do more. I tried over printing to create a third color, but on screen and on paper it looked very different. I also wanted very geometric shapes that is why my zine had a circular geometric print that was consistent all throughout and with linear design in my type. I chose to go with a circular pattern to try and convey the idea of interconnectivity, because my truism was about remembering your past and where you came from.
