Part 1: So last week St. Ed’s alumnus Matt Lankes came and did a presentation. Upon looking through his website, he’s obviously a very skilled photographer. Considering how many people, from A-list actors like Robert Downey Jr. and Tommy Lee Jones to the average Joe, Matt has worked with, I’d say he’s probably one of the most prolific photographers in the country, if not the world, today. I’m greatly impressed by his work, even with my lack of knowledge of and lack of interest of photography. I will say, you have to really love your job and be completely devoted to it to follow one boy’s life for 12 years to make a movie.
