Last month, St. Edward’s added an electric vehicle charging station in the parking garage. This project was a joint effort with Austin Energy and Chargepoint. On the university side, Parking Services, Facilities, Students for Sustainability, and the Student Government Association were part of the effort. The station can be found on the far eastern side of the garage’s ground floor, facing the garage overflow lot. It has the capacity to charge two vehicles at once, with two parking spots reserved just for electric cars.
