It’s on Us Panel on Sexual Violence:

On the panel, there were advisors who were experts on sexual violence and told about how the crime rates were increasing. However, the talk mainly focused on statistically rather than solutions in theory. Here, our fellow LLC member, Josh asked questions about how the famous basketball rape case was similar to other cases the panel was discussing.

Poetry Slam:

On 10/27, the poetry slam was focused around personal perspective towards sexual harassment. Here, not only students but alumni and other’s who have expertise in the field were there to participate. The program was very successful and emotional.

Mouthful Play:

The thematic focus of the play was a satirical but truthful concept about “doomsday” or the end of the world. There were about 5 plays that foreshadowed and talked about the depletion of our natural resources and how we, as humans, are only to blame. The play’s purpose was to inspire us to change while we still can.

Kelsey Timmerman:

In the Kelsey Timmerman reading, the author focused around both of his books and doing comparisons and contrasts between the two.
