Dr. Kennedy’s presentation on Monday was a very interesting and fundamental.  His views on photography and how a picture can have a great impact and how a picture truly has a thousand words. I was very interested in his presentation and it changed my perspective on how I view photography because as an artist I think it’s important to have a meaning behind a painting just like a picture. Dr. Kennedy provided excellent examples of how a picture can convey more than just what the image portrays; it can portray a mood and make a person feel and relate to something depending on the image. Overall Dr. Kennedy’s presentation provided clear examples of how photography is a wicked problem, especially when we live in the age of social media where billions of photos are being posted every day.
