Hollis Hammonds’ work is generally reflective of of past experiences. Throughout her presentation we are able to see she uses a mixture of mediums on most of her pieces. Graphite, pen, wood venire, and shadows are all different mediums utilized by Hollis in her art work.

The work of Tuan Duc Phan is reminiscent of his involvement in his fathers quest for organic foods. His styles of work vary. Tuan showed us an intricate design for a box of tea, and then a minimalist design for a box of rice. The rice box design was then shot down by family members for being way too cool.

Sybils work was very intriguing, it was like nothing i’d ever seen before. Sybil is very interesting when she talks.  Sybil was dressed so well, i loved the black turtleneck she was wearing. the end

Armin Mühsam’s work is very architectural. His work usually consists of a very small palate of colors; about four to six colors are used in each piece. Some of his pieces are very collage like and have slight 3D elements. I found it astonishing that erased lines, were erased so poorly. Various pieces of his work contained the exact same drawn objects. I enjoyed that form of continuity completely.

My Dream Schedule would comprise of the necessary Graphic Design classes; Foundation of art and design, and Type 1. My schedule would also compose of Liberal arts math, The american experience, and Rhet & Comp 2. The classes however, would not make my dream schedule, my dream schedule. What would make my dream schedule, would be if all my classes started around 10am and continued consecutively with no spaces in-between. I would also love to have no Friday classes, as i do not have any in this semester.
