Faculty Performance Evaluation Committee (FPEC)

Faculty Performance Evaluation Committee (FPEC)

The Faculty Performance Evaluation Committee assesses the faculty course-and-teaching-evaluation procedures in use on campus through feedback from faculty and suggests research-driven improvements.

Members serve by examining current research into methods of course and teaching evaluation and informing faculty of these findings, assessing the faculty evaluation procedures in use on campus, and suggesting improvements. The committee serves as a forum for faculty members’ concerns regarding course-and-teaching-performance evaluations. It assists faculty in interpreting evaluation data and in using the information to adjust and improve teaching as needed.
