100 Solutions Project

I chose to explore 4 handmade ceramic flowers in various situations and capture them on my iPhone 6. Out of the 110 pictures I took, the five below are the most intriguing to me.

I chose these because they personally reflect me. During the spring and summer I visit the greenbelt often; my first picture is one of my favorite spots to cool off on a long hike. The second and third picture have a similar importance, the former an ode to my love for painting to bring myself peace. The third picture was taken on a table I built with my own dainty hands, which I am incredibly proud of. My fourth picture shows one of my favorite natural occurrences, knots in trees, and I happened to get an incredibly interesting light leak which brought the picture to a new level for me. My fifth picture poses as proof of my first ever axe swinging experience. I missed the piece of wood…every time. I also love the Wizard of Oz-esque colors of the last picture, it brings back childhood memories.
