Alexandra, “Alex,” Hill is joining the President’s Office as the new Sustainability Communications Strategist and Administrative Coordinator. She is a great addition to the university’s sustainability team as she brings knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and online community engagement. She will be supporting Sustainability Coordinator Cristina Bordin in implementing strategies to educate the campus community of the university’s sustainability practices and efforts.
Prior to joining St. Edward’s, Alex worked in the fashion industry. The fashion industry is second only to the fossil fuel industry as the worst polluter, and she was inspired to start making changes. As she learned more about sustainability, she became passionate about sharing easy ways to support sustainable practices at home and work. She’s known to use a reusable notebook and her current challenge is to bring her own takeout containers to restaurants for leftovers. Say hello when you see her on campus!
