Valentine’s Greenbelt Cleanup With Students for Sustainability: Feb 13

She’s the beast under your feet that holds steady when you fall down. The breath of fresh air you inhale as you wake up. The creek that washes all your woes away. The fire in your heart that makes tomorrow a better day. The only mother we all share. The one who will always be there.

Join our posse of good humans as we enjoy the splendor of the Greenbelt while we scratch Mother Nature’s back cleaning up the creek this Saturday!

The Golden Rule not only applies to human relationships, but also to the relationship we have with our planet and all of its creatures. But you already knew that! That’s why you’re coming to celebrate with us!

We plan to meet where 360 and Mopac intersect (under the bridge) at around 3:30-4:00. We’ll then travel upstream until we reach Lost Creek where we will have some tea and consolidate our assorted collections of trash.

Please bring a pair of gloves to pick up all the nasties and we will provide trash bags. Click here for more information and to RSVP on the Facebook event.
