I interviewed Rigoberto Frausto, he is a middle-class man who’s been trying to buy a home in central Austin for more than 5 months. I asked him questions and after talking to him got his point of view of home affordability. Surprisingly my ideas were not too different than his, I was not surprised with the answers he gave me. This afternoon when I got to listen to the interviews my partners did, I was surprised at the different points of views that we collected within just five people. Over all two-homeless people, one homeless shelter volunteer, one real estate agent, and one middle class civilian were interviewed. Because of their position in society they all had different approaches to the home affordability topic. Homeless people talked about the minimum wage and how working for a minimum wage income is not enough for living expenses therefore not enough for house payments. The real-estate agent had a completely different approach since she suggested that solution for home affordability would be renewable energy such as solar panels.  These was great feedback but this just means that our problem has lots of different problems within therefore there is no one solution.
