In September 2017, NSCI began coordinating with FedEx Office for print services and established a direct email request policy with the FedEx Office located at 600 E. Ben White Blvd. As of Jan. 2018, the University uses FedEx Office for print services in place of the Copy Center so any requests they receive are forwarded to FedEx Office for completion.

NSCI has been notified of changes to our original agreement and method for faculty to make requests:

SUBMITTING A PRINT REQUEST:
1. NSCI faculty/staff may continue to submit requests directly to FedEx through the communication channel originally established and outlined below.

  • To submit a print request to FedEx Office, email USA1778@fedex.com along with a PDF attachment of your print request and include the following details of the print project:
  • single or double-sided
  • black and white or color
  • quantity to be made
  • staple option
  • type/color of paper
  • Delivery Method:  Deliver to SEU  or Faculty will pick up project from 600 E. Ben White
  • contact phone number
  • In your email please copy Greg Noble, Sarah Reyna and our FedEx Representatives Derica Harrison and Jesus Sanchez. Identify the print request is for “SEU Natural Sciences” in the subject line.  The email link above reflects this format.

2.  Requests can be submitted to the Copy Center and they will forward your request to FedEx Office for you.  Please be sure to follow the instructions on the Copy Center web page.

3.  Faculty/staff may elect to opt into an online account for submitting requests via the FedEx Office website. If  you are interested in submitting requests online, please reply to sreyna1@stedwards.edu and I will work with FedEx to create an online account for you.

RECEIVING YOUR PRINT PROJECT:
1. While FedEx tries to return all requests within one day, requests may take up to 48-hours to be delivered to campus. FedEx Office now delivers twice a day to the Copy Center and no longer delivers directly to JBWS 168.  Completed projects are returned to the Copy Center who places the item(s) in a smart locker in the Quick Dip and an email notification is then sent to the recipient.  If you need assistance with picking up your item(s), please forward the email notification(s) that includes the PIN number to nscidean@stedwards.edu with the request for assistance.

2. If you require an expedited print project, you may pick up your project directly from 600 E. Ben White Blvd. Clearly communicate this preference in your request and be sure to secure acknowledgement from FedEx Office.

For anyone who uses the Sharp printers in JBWS 168A or JBWN 120, drivers that allow duplexing and stapling can be found in the NSCI Shared Public folder.  This will allow you to print double-sided, stapled black and white print projects.

If you have any questions or should any of the links above not work, please contact sreyna1@stedwards.edu.
