Although Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are somewhat easy to maintain if they are for personal use it is very different if you are trying to gain revenue using social media for small businesses. Honestly as soon as all the hype started building around social media for small business I didn’t understand the fuzz. What’s so hard about it? It’s JUST a Facebook. Well no, it’s not just a Facebook it’s the business’ integrity and I hate to break it to you, but you run out of things to say. Another problem is you can’t just say anything. Everything reflects back on your small business.

One very important thing that I noticed also mentioned in the infographic was to put one person in charge of the social media platforms. Although there are a lot people that might have really important things to say it is very important to keep the same voice.

My one objection to this infographic is to focus more on Facebook. Although I do believe Facebook is a very efficient way to get people to notice you. Instagram is also a great way to get people’s attention. Twitter is also a great way to get people’s attention. The advantage to both of these is that both these platforms is that the message is short and sweet.

I hope these tips were a bit helpful for small business with social media phobias.
