The concept for this map was to vaguely represent the districts of Austin, and bike shops near the area. With critic I came to find out my design did not accurately represent my communication. The districts are very inaccurate and busy with the yellow dots. However the line thickness communicates what roads are busier compared to smaller and less traveled ones. The different colors of symbols and street names create hierarchy; however it could have been executed better to clearly communicate the purpose of the map.
