Inspiration by contemporary artist

My inspiration for art does not come from somebody I admire from afar, but somebody that is actually close to me. Maddi Gonzalez, my older sister, was my inspiration to start drawing at a young age and also have a greater appreciation for artists and their creations. Her artworks consist mainly of cartoon style characters, leading her to work on comic art for various comics as well as contributing to artwork for indie games. She is just starting out, so there are not many sources for her professional artwork besides her website and pages on social media. I share her (I would like to say) talent for drawing people and that is the subject I have decided to stick with since I started drawing. I admire her creativity to be able to have an idea and then draw it onto paper (Or computer now with the use of digital art). I like being able to draw people to have different situations and emotions to an artwork and different scenes play out in a panel or single picture. While I am not sure if I will ever be a comic artist or of the like, I hope that I will be able to one day follow in her footsteps and develop my own style and name.
