I visited the Ann and Roy Butler hike and Bike trail for my research and found that my photos and writing about the area best lead me to forming the identity that best suits the trail. While visiting I tried to capture the serene yet lively nature of the trail that I experienced, though I had originally wanted to form the identity based on the contrast between the naturalness of the trail and its proximity to downtown Austin. These two ideas eventually somewhat met up together when I decided that I would base my identity on the break in my routine that going to the trail provided, and decided to brand the Hike and Bike trail as a location for Austinites who needed a break from everyday routine to relax in nature.
