All investigators submitting IBC proposals for review must complete the CITI initial biosafety training before the proposal submission. Additionally, all student researchers and staff participating in the use and/or handling of recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules must complete training before performing the research. Training is completed online through the CITI program.  Once complete, training is valid for 3 years. Information regarding CITI registration can be found here: CITI Training 

IBC members must also complete CITI training every 3 years.
