How to register for and complete the CITI Biosafety training: 

1. Go to www.citiprogram.org 
2. On the top right corner click Register 
3. Search for “St. Edward’s University” 
4. The website should populate the name 
5. Then click Continue to Step 2 
6. Fill out the required fields 
7. Then click Continue to Step 3 
8. Create a username and password. REMEMBER THIS INFO! 
9. Then click Continue to Step 4 
10. Fill out required fields 
11. Then click Continue to Step 5 
12. Select “NO” for CE functionality  
13. Fill required fields 
14. Then click Continue to Step 6 
15. Fill out required fields 
16. Then click Continue to Step 7 
17. Select Student Biomedical Research 
18. Select Basic Biosafety Training 
19. Once you have registered, you should be able to take the “Initial Biosafety Training” 
20. When you have completed/passed the course, please attach that certificate to the Biosafety Compliance Form
