The objective of the lesson was to study the relationship between predators and prey and analyze the effects of their relationships in an ecosystem. Students had previously learned about several symbiotic relationships including predator-prey interactions. The lesson was largely based on a game played outside with different students representing different predators and prey. Students were encouraged in the game to collect resources, whether they be vegetation for the prey or the prey for the predators. Included is the instructional PowerPoint and video of college Noyce scholars completing the game. These were included to make sure all learners, whether visual, auditory or kinetics were able to retain the instructions for the game.
