This was my very first assignment in Typography I. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but it really introduced me to the whole realm of typography. This assignment allowed me to appreciate great typefaces and how difficult it is to master the skill of creating your own type.
I created a type that was reflective of a particular quote given to us in class. Although I don’t have that particular quote anymore, I remember it has something to do with the current of the ocean, hence why I titled the font current and created the curvy ends to the type. I definitely recognize that I was far from being a skilled typography at this point in my graphic design experience, it was more of the beginning point of it all.
