This is my Informative Map. The assignment was to create an informative spread with a pie chart, bar & line graph. First I collected my research about a particular subject matter, in my case it was a study on college students and the amount of study hours they put in each week. We learned how to collect data, put it into excel, and organize the information we found.

Through the completion of this assignment I learned all about creating informative design. It was my first assignment of this kind and I found it really interesting. I wanted to go with the school theme, because my information was examining school studies. I made a book for my paragraph describing my spread and a blackboard to represent the data I collected.

This map took my a while and I learned about an element of design that I was very familiar with prior to the assignment, and that was translating informative data into design. I think my strongest attributes in this map was my color scheme and type. I think that I definitely could improve and there are a few things i would change about my overall design if I could do it over. But time was limited, and I think overall if I were to exam how much I learned through the creation of this spread it would be high.
