Capstone In Chile got off to a great start in Valparaiso. St. Edward’s students are settled in with their Chilean host families and our community service learning project at Escuela Uruguay got off to a great start.
We were greeted warmly by the administrators and the teachers of the school.

After breakfast, St. Edward’s students met the 35 girls with whom they will be working. After sharing with the students of Escuela Uruguay their own “Soy de Aqui” movies, we distributed disposable cameras to the girls so they could narrative a story of their own lives in Valparaiso.
