My year into the spring is to participate in more game building classes for my major and also join a drawing class. I also want to join a scriptwriting class in my sophomore year to be able to create a story. While in my sophomore year i need to get a job as a game tester. With my minor computer science i can have a substitute in case I lose a job in game design I can use programming skills to create programs for money. However i currently do no have any computer science class so I’ll need to join a computer science class in the spring to catch up to my original knowledge. I also want to study abroad in Japan so i need to join a Japanese language course for a few semesters

Part 1:

The main points of the article is discussing that entrepreneurs need to be more creative rather than just analytical to succeed in the company, and vice versa. Artists will need to pick up on organization from the entrepreneurs, with an addition to in adding support and opinions from others. I agree that artist or more like children and are more ambiguous. Just like children artist can come up with the most intense and creative ideas in their mind and put it on a landscape.  I also say they are more of very good speakers since they are great at telling a story through art itself.

Part 2:

My grit level is not as satisfactory as i want it to be. though its better than half of the U.S. population i still feel that i need to be more grittier in order to surpass my life goals in college and in life. For a start I need to write down the necessary steps i need to take in order to achieve my true goals and also think ahead of today and take each day with a stride.

GESALT Project-xpqtjc

the goal was to photograph images that represent one of  Gesalt’s motto of Unity. To go about reaching my goal i took pictures that i thought unity truly represented in my mind. My  project has the image to tell the truth of unity but it did not have much of a direction with all of the photos I gathered. I also limited my photos to on campus images which also limited how I can use those images to a story

GESALT project

My Inspiring Artist

My inspiring artist is Hirohiko Araki who is the lead manga artist of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. This artist inspires the characters i create because of the crazy art style and dynamic poses. When i saw the art style of Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, And Stardust Crusader a whole world opened to my. This gave me ideas for characters and their other ghost selves or “Stands”. I want to become a manga artist like Araki-san. I know that it will take practice and a lot of tools for manga art but i can succeed with this goal in mind.
