Visual Identity: Mark

In my process to get to my final mark I did a lot of hand drawings and used those as the base of my mark. I felt that it was appropriate to my identity that I actually draw out my ideas and small patterns that I could use as elements in making my mark in illustrator. In the end, I feel that somewhere along the process I lost the organic nature of my original drawings in my mark and the final product ended up looking more computerized than I intended. I wanted to create patterns of the structural elements of the moon towers and then implement them into a mark. I decided to use a particular pattern of the struts of the moon tower as a focal point in my design.
