Process Work: Writing
I found myself benefitting from writing about my experience of visiting the moon towers and the identity I wanted to pursue became much clearer and fleshed out. In my writing, I wanted to pinpoint how exactly the moon towers felt to me both physically and emotionally. I wrote about my first trip to one of the towers and in my story, I used the setting and the language to try and relay to the reader how I felt in my first experience. My identity really came from my initial reaction to the moon towers and by writing about that reaction I felt that I was able to delve further and better understand what exactly I was feeling and wanted to convey.
