Part 1
- The main point is the importance of art and how it makes our lives better.
- Artists learn to leverage the many resources available to make it easier to do business independently.
- Yes. Entrepreneurs design, launch, and run a new business, much like an artist. They create their own product and earn a profit from it in some sort of business, so an artist is definitely an entrepreneur.
- I mostly agree with “artists are craftspeople” because I can relate. I tend to do my best thinking while making something that seems random, then turning it into something completely different.
- I would add “artists are fine with being weird.” Most works of art that I’ve seen have been quite odd, but beautiful. As an artist, I think it’s impossible to be “normal,” you just have to be yourself.
- I think that everyone is an artist in their own way. Some people are just talented at certain things, and that’s amazing to me.
Part 2
- My grit score was 2.88 out of 5. I don’t agree with the survey, however. I’ve always stayed focused on a task, even when it seemed impossible to complete. I’m not one to give up easily.
- To increase my level of grit I could try harder to not get distracted by other sources, because that’s the only problem I’ve been having.
