Phillips builds houses out of recycled material that people threw out as “trash”. It’s interesting to think about how we can step out the box and place certain aspects of the house somewhere out of the norm. What I never thought about is how he explained the window situation. If one window is cracked, get a hammer and crack the others to match to give it a certain personality. Phillips talks about how we have a consistency to compare our perspective with the one we had before. Makes me go out into the world and see the different perspectives and how I actually look at the details of objects.
