Part I

Based on the notes you took during class, write a brief description and response to each of the Faculty presentations.

Bob:

Bob, is a game design professor here at St. Eds. His overall presentation was him discussing his own passion for games. He explains that his love for games started as a young kid at 8 years old, and it all started with pinball. He goes on to talk about each game that slowly developed over the years, and he continues to talk about his success in his career before he became and educator.

Alex:

Alex is a drawing professor here at St. Eds. She begins by explaining how her children impacted her own work. She explained that she believed this was awful at first, since she had to give up her audio for the girl’s bedroom, and many other difficulties as a new mom. But when she gave her girls a camera, they came up with some pretty strange and unique images.

Joe:

Joe is a photography professor here at St. Ed’s. He explains to the audience that he started this on going project I believe 20 years ago. He says he takes pictures of every person even in his extended family. He says his family is very old school, they don’t believe in birth control and if a teenage girl got pregnant she must have the baby. This leads to the context of these photos and the whole purpose of these photos, you see, this project will never end since his family keeps growing. He also loves to shoot natural and raw images.

I really did enjoy this course. I love how y’all made it interesting for all majors, because you brought in many different speakers. I also like the blog posts every Friday. Its very easy to keep up with and I was never confused on an assignment.
