This map was designed using bank statements from an unknown user to generate all the data. The task at hand was to visualize information, so instead of having a list of bank statements you have visuals to help a person quickly understand and review information. My concept was to compare the number of purchases between a certain dollar ranges versus the total dollar amount of those purchases. The process I followed to make my graphs was very like what I did in the Zine project. In the Zine project, I created a chromatic type and I used those skills I learned for that assignment to create my graphs. I also made each individual bar have lines within it to indicate the amount of purchases in that range. I think that certain design choice enhanced my content because it gives a clearer idea to the viewer about how many purchases there were for a certain amount of money. It helps with clarity and legibility of the graphs.
