This project was the first project I made while in the graphic design program and it was mostly focused on the construction and comprehension of the grids. This design to me was not my favorite because I felt very limited but I did make my grid as assigned. The process for this assignment included making a choice on the dimensions of the book, how large I wanted my margins and how many columns I would want to be filled with text. My design of the grid and the placement of text and pictures connected to my ideology of clarity and legibility. A design choice that also expressed this idea was the quotes I pulled out from the speech to create more emphasis and draw attention to those important points.
