Hyper-D is a very bold, solid typeface. In the first poster I gave it a bold outline to enhance and showcase how powerful it is. fading from the dark, solid color into a white also made the type pop better due to contrast. The second poster makes the letter look as if it is almost being restrained, it is so brazen. The fade and decrease in line weight of the stripes is in reference to how the letter also seems to fade a little because one side is so weighted and the other side significantly decreases in weight. The positioning of the letter in the third posters are also in reference to the differences in weight change in the letters. It is referencing gravity like the typeface seems to.
