I believe one of my strongest assets in my graphic design work is symbol making and vector work. I have focused a lot of my time into Illustrator and vectors. I think it is evident in my symbol methodology project.

Some of my strengths are when it comes to my monochromatic work in graphic design. I have a really strong passion for black and white work. So when it comes to working in black and white I really try push myself.

I think I have area for improvement in the overall professionalism of my work. This mainly has to do with making my work look professional and polished as possible. Also spending more time with my work overall will aid my weakness of professionalism tremendously.

The thing that I have learned about design through this project is doing iterations. Iterations have helped me in so much. They have allowed for me to move projects in the direction I want them to go in. This is due to see the piece of work in many different ways and contexts.

I believe in this materials studies project I was able to use the found object, of plastic forks, properly. I believe in this because I am able to make a typeface that could only be achieved through using parts of plastic forks. I also found a lot of creativity in being able to use a fork in a completely different context then it is normally used in.

My strength in this piece of work is making the new typeface. By being able to bend the letter shapes I am able to create a brand new a visually interesting typeface. I also think the environment that the typeface is presented in is very strong and helpful for the presented type. However, I think there is room for improvement in the overall quality of the picture. I believe I could of spent more time making sure the colors were completely correct and true, before printing out the image.

I think the main thing I learned from this specific project is spend more time with your project. The more time you put in, the better the results will be in the overall product. This is something I want to make as a guideline for my work in the future.
