My project was to make a type book for the font Frutiger. We were given a set of instructions and reading that we had to incorporate and were allowed to style the book however we pleased. This assignment was very difficult since it was one of the largest projects I’ve had to do so far. There was a lot of material to cover and I had not had experience with designing a layout for a book before. Overall, I liked my project and felt accomplished when I finished. I tried to convey the typeface in the book based on the artists’ life and the many uses for the typeface itself.
