Image Methodology-Taylor Swift

When creating the Taylor Swift video for shake it off we had to go through a process. This process was to first come up with an idea that would fit the song. Once we got the idea of what we wanted the video to look like we had to come up with a story line and choreography for the video. This taught me how much it takes to create a video. Showed that it sometimes takes more than one mind to create something amazing, that I should be open to other peoples ideas. Also it taught me that even though we are set on things going our way sometimes it is impossible and have to adapt to what is available to us and that being critiqued is never a bad thing. It showed that team work is important even when it comes to designing.

Image Methodology- constellation

This was the constellation project. I had to chose a constellation which I chose orion the hunter. This was the first time I worked with AfterEffects so learning to use this software was very confusing at first. I did learn how to make a video and use different affects such as fading in background and add moving objects. The one thing that I did not know how to do when I was doing this video was organizing the constellation to fit inside the image. Now that the I’ve learned to better use the program I want to go back and change that because it just seems unfinished.

Graphic Design 1- cognitive map

flowchart

For this project we had to chose a topic. My topic was tattoos. once we chose our topic we had to decide questions that would lead to other questions through a serious of yes or no’s. Once I had gather the information on my topic I would create a flow chart that would help a person decide if he/she should get a tattoo. Although the flow chart where based on questions I still had to add symbols. These symbols will help add to the visual presentation of the map. I was able to better understand what symbols to use or would work in this project through our first project in the class which was symbols.
