In this project, we were to organize and style a type specimen booklet. My typeface was ITC Century Std. This font is widely used through magazines and other major publications. I wanted my book to embody a vibrant type face with the feel of being a product from a major publication. The result of this project was rewarding. I chose to go with vibrant CMYK colors and also I chose to make my text appear to be adhered together as if the type was all one giant piece of text. I liked my design choice to use a solid color to join all text together and with that I also rotated the letters to join at interesting angles and curves within other letter forms.

The process that I chose to follow was to place my text where I thought was pleasing, and also I used imaginary grids. Some text creates imaginary axis because of placement which was visually pleasing.
