Personal Work
I designed and painted this hamsa inspired design onto a guitar. This was an interesting exploration of a new method of painting. I hand cut a stencil and the primed the guitar and painted it. I used a sealant to insure that the paint would not flake off. 
2D Design Class
As a freshman at the University of Missouri I took a 2-D design class that explored a variety of mediums. This class is comparable to the Beginning Design class that is offered at St. Edward’s.

- The purpose of this piece was to choose a word and juxtapose it with images of your choice. I chose these images of musicians, because all of their music has influenced my life in some way. Also, as musicians, they influenced other people and their music continues to influence people everyday.

I took Painting I during the Spring 2013 semester. I had never used oil paint before, but discovered that it was a medium that I excelled in. I learned so much in just a few short months and intend to continue my pursuit for the duration of my time at St. Edward’s.
