The premise of this project was quite easy. I was to choose an adventure bag, contents of the bag, and then photograph them. I don’t like to carry a bunch of things so I keep my bag intensely minimal. I then tried to align the items to a grid system as best I could to fill up the page evenly and distributed based on size and visual weight of the object. The only non-essential item I brought was a flower that fell off a headband my favorite band wore on stage the second time I saw them that I made specifically for them. I figured that if I needed anything that weren’t these basics I had my wallet so I could just buy it. I’ve gone on trips before and packed things I never used so I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I bring almost nothing with me unless it’s crucial.
