For our first project I decided to use gestalt principles to create sensory responses to my photographs. By focusing on textures and the shots of the sky, I am hoping my audience will be able to feel the sun shining on the crown of their heads, the slight breeze in the air, the smell of Homeslice minutes away. I chose to focus on sensory images because these strange connections of the senses in Austin is what convinced me to move here. I want others to experience the incredible subtle beauty that lies up and down south Congress, rushed by on your way to Gueros or Hey Cupcake.
