For this assignment I created a decision map that helped people make the decision to start a business. I had to determine who my audience would be and do research on what people need to do first to start a business. I wrote down a list of the most important questions and incorporated them into my map. When it came to the aesthetic of the map I created little icons and symbols that related to business. For example, I used suitcases as the question holder and folders for the final answer or suggestion. My goal was for the design to look clean and structured by using sharp line edges and very square shapes so that it looked professional. I wanted to create something that was easy to follow but allowed the person interacting with it to get valuable information. I believe that this map could be a lot more detailed and needs to hold more information than what it has already. That is what I would improve the most. I felt like I could of played with colors and the symbols I used a little more.
