Teaching Symposium 2021: Reigniting Your Passion: Finding Joy in Reconnection
The 2021 Teaching Symposium will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Each year, the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Symposium Planning Committee organize an on-campus conference on teaching and learning at St. Edward’s.The conference is planned by St. Edward’s faculty, presentations are proposed and led by St. Edward’s faculty, and it is widely attended by both adjunct and tenure-track faculty as well as administrators and staff.
Although we can’t meet in person this year, the 2021 Teaching Symposium will still honor the goals of gaining insights, meeting new colleagues, and rekindling our love of teaching. Join us on the day of the Symposium to hear from colleagues across campus discuss new approaches to teaching and learning and tune in all week for the asynchronous presentations on specialized topics. Even though we can’t physically be in the same space, we can still build community and look to our colleagues for new ideas. Please join us for an invigorating day of pedagogical discussion!
