Janelle Sylvester ’14, Environmental Science and Policy major and co-president of Students for Sustainability, won a National Recycling Coalition scholarship. A stellar student, Janelle took the opportunity to apply for this scholarship after learning about it on the sustainability blog.
Every year the National Recycling Coalition, Inc. (NCR) awards scholarships to students in environmental studies who are interested in the recycling field. Since 1996, the Murray J. Fox Scholarship Trust Fund has awarded nearly $50,000 in scholarships to more than 35 college students who planned to study in fields related to recycling and waste prevention.
