Harris County Public Health is seeking a Food Donation Program Specialist to work with the Take Out Hunger (TOH) program through the duration of the grant (approximately 18 months). Take Out Hunger is a food recovery initiative to increase safe food donations activity across Harris County; the vision is to lead the way to a food secure and food safe Harris County. The Specialist will work in conjunction with the Food Donations Coordinator to conduct food safety workshops at various food establishments, and will also assist in developing new outreach, recognition, and partnership projects under the Take Out Hunger umbrella.
