A symposium on Texas Plastic Pollution will be held on October 30, 2018, from 9 am–5 pm in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Del Mar Center for Economic Development (3209 South Staples Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411). Registration and call for abstracts are now open. A poster session will follow the meeting at the Texas Surf Museum!
Registration is required and FREE thanks to generous support from the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas Sea Grant, and Surfrider Foundation. Register early; there are only 160 spots.
If you are interested in presenting at the meeting, we encourage you to submit an abstract. Please fill out the ABSTRACT TEMPLATE. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words, and poster dimensions should be no larger than 45 inches wide x 42 inches tall. Oral presentations will be approximately 15 minutes in length, including 2-3 minutes for questions. The deadline for abstract submission is October 16th. Presenters will be chosen and notified promptly.
After the abstract submittal deadline, the agenda and program will be sent to registered participants.
