New Monitors in JBWS and JBWN to Display Exciting Info From the School of Natural Sciences

Thanks to a generous gift from Dr. John Gilmore and Dr. Linda Burk of Dallas, the School of Natural Sciences has acquired two monitors to be deployed in lobby space, one each in John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences Center-North (JBWN) and John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences Center-South (JBWS). The JBWN monitor replaces one that was installed when the building opened in 2006 but that had failed several years ago and never been replaced. The monitor in JBWS is brand new. The monitors will display original programming from the School of Natural Sciences, including photos of student and faculty research (including work done at Wild Basin), interviews with students and faculty, announcements about club meetings, academic conference and seminar information, deadlines, and welcome messages to visiting students when possible. When the original feed is not running, they’ll have live content from a NASA (or similar) source of scientific and environmental programming.
