Students for Sustainability Awarded Student Organization of the Year

Hard work pays off! After all of the time and effort Students for Sustainability (SFS) puts into raising awareness about sustainability and conservation around our beautiful campus community and beyond, we are proud to announce that SFS has been awarded the Student Organization of the Year! Congratulations for all of those who have helped in SFS initiative’s and projects throughout the year!! An esteemed member from SFS, Mary Katherine Belknap, was also selected for the award, Emerging Leader of the 2014-2015 academic year, for all of her various efforts and initiatives with Students for Sustainability!

The Recognized Organization Council (ROC) and the office of Student Life are pleased to announce that Mary Katherine Belknap has been selected as an Emerging Leader of the 2014-2015 academic year. This award honors her great leadership potential within her student organization and/or the campus community.  Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!

Both awards will be presented at Undergraduate Honors Night on Monday, April 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mabee Ballrooms.
