2013-2014 marks the second year of the Master’s of Environmental Management and Sustainability degree program at St. Edward’s University. Program is relatively small with around 16 students accepted each year but they have a large impact in research activities on campus. Their projects are diverse ranging from wildlife studies at Wild Basin to water catchment projects on campus. They also typically incorporate undergraduate research assistants in the research process so if you are an undergrad looking for some additional experience in environmental work feel free to reach out.
This page found under the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences has a collection of profiles for the current and past MSEM cohorts. You can find past projects that the students have worked on as well as information on what they are currently working on for their 1st year project. If you are interested in an Environmental-based Master’s degree with some study abroad experience, keep an eye out for this program as the students spend their second year at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) campus in Angers, France where they will continue to study, conduct research and intern abroad.
