The purpose of this project was to create a map that was inspired by our daily lives. This design exists as a map of St. Edward’s campus. I wanted to provide a visualization of the hours of any building on campus at a quick glance. I chose to keep the colors and buildings simple so that there would be no distractions. I find myself pondering whether or not a building is open and there is no existing way to see all of the buildings times at once. I chose fonts that would be easy to read while also catching the eye so it would be easy to find what you are looking for.
